The Process

How it works

Three steps from first look to a plain answer. Two minutes to start, no documents to see your options, and a decision typically within one business day of a complete file.

Three steps, a plain answer at each one

Here’s the whole thing in one look. The rest of this page walks through each step — what we ask, what the review desk weighs, and what you see before you decide anything.

Tell us about the business

Two minutes, no documents — just the basics of the file.

The review desk looks at your real numbers

Real underwriters, not a form-bot. Qualifying files usually hear back within one business day.

Pick the option that fits

If a program fits your file, you’ll see it plainly — amount range, term, payment — and decide with zero pressure.

Step One

Tell us about the business

Two minutes, no documents — just the basics of the file.

Everything starts with a short form — the kind you can finish on your phone between jobs. It asks for the basics of the file and nothing else: no documents, no logins, nothing to dig out of a drawer.

What we ask — and why

  • The business itself. Legal or DBA name, industry, state, and time in business. This tells the review desk what kind of file it’s reading — a two-year-old restaurant and a ten-year-old trucking company are different files, and they get read differently.
  • Monthly revenue. A range, not a spreadsheet. Revenue is how capacity gets sized — programs typically run up to 2X your monthly revenue, depending on how the file looks.
  • The request. Roughly how much you’re looking for, what the funds are for — payroll, inventory, equipment, expansion, a cash-flow cushion — and how soon you need an answer. Use of funds helps match the structure: slow-paying invoices point one direction, a seasonal crunch points another.
  • How to reach you. Your name, business email, and mobile phone, so a person can follow up on your request.

What we don’t ask

No Social Security number. No bank logins. No document uploads. Nothing sensitive belongs in a first look, so we don’t ask for it here — and we never ask for it by text or email. If a program fits your file later, the secure steps happen on the protected application or by phone.

One more thing worth knowing: the form includes a separate, optional checkbox if you’d like updates by text. It’s never required — your request goes through either way — and you can opt out any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.

Step Two

The review desk looks at your real numbers

Real underwriters, not a form-bot.

When your form comes in, it goes to the review desk — people who read files for a living, not an algorithm that scores you in the dark. They look at what the business actually does, not just what a formula says about it.

What underwriters actually weigh

  • Time in business. Track record matters more than paperwork. A business that has made payroll through a few slow seasons reads differently than one still finding its rhythm.
  • Monthly revenue. Not just the number — the shape of it. Steady, seasonal, growing, catching up after a rough quarter: each shape fits some programs better than others.
  • The overall health of the file. How the pieces fit together: what the business earns, what it already carries, and whether new capital makes the picture stronger or heavier.

How long it takes

Decisions typically come within one business day of a complete file. “Complete” at this stage just means the two-minute form, answered accurately — there are no documents to chase, so there’s usually nothing to slow the answer down.

What comes back

A plain answer, either way. If one or more programs fit your file, you’ll see them — that’s Step III. If nothing fits right now, we say that too, along with why, so you know where the file stands instead of waiting on a maybe.

Step Three

Pick the option that fits

The numbers in plain terms — before you sign anything.

If a program fits, you’ll see it the way you’d want a friend to lay it out: the amount range, the term, and the payment, in plain terms, in writing — before you sign anything.

The numbers, with their hedges attached

Every file is different, so the honest way to talk about numbers is in ranges. Amounts typically run up to 2X monthly revenue, depending on how the file looks. Terms run out to 48 months at the ceiling — most files land 12–24. Rates can start around 1% a month for the strongest files. What your numbers are is exactly the question the review desk exists to answer — and you’ll know the full cost before you sign anything.

Zero pressure, on purpose

There’s no countdown clock on any of this. You’ll have the numbers in front of you and the time to read them, run them past your accountant, or sleep on them. If you have questions, you ask the same person who’s handled your file from the first look — one point of contact, start to finish.

Might not fit your situation — worth two minutes to check.

That’s the whole posture. Checking your options costs nothing and obligates you to nothing; if the fit isn’t right, you walk away knowing where the file stands.

A Straight Answer

We’re not the cheapest desk. Files that fit usually leave with a longer term and one payment instead of three — and you’ll know exactly what it costs before you sign anything.

Our Rails

What we’ll never do

The process above works because of what’s not in it. These four are fixed — at every step, for every file.

Ask for sensitive information by text or email

Never. No Social Security numbers, no bank details, no document requests over text or email. Sensitive steps happen on the secure application or by phone.

Pressure you into signing

No countdown clocks, no manufactured deadlines. You get the numbers in plain terms and the time to read them — decide on your own schedule.

Hide what it costs

You’ll know exactly what a program costs before you sign anything — the full cost, in writing, in plain terms.

Keep you guessing

If your file doesn’t fit our programs, we say so — plainly and quickly, so you can look elsewhere without losing time.

Ready When You Are

Two minutes tells you where the file stands.

No documents, no obligation — just the basics of the business, and a plain answer typically within one business day.
